Coinciding with the festival of Huescan cinema, the provincial government of Huesca presented a retrospective of the work of the most important Mexican photographer Gabriel Figueroa who uses lighting with the dexterity of a magician. Famous for his portraits of everyday life, and well known for his work as director of cinema photography, who worked alongside such famous figures as John Houston, John Ford and, above all, the Aragonese Luis Buñuel. His portraits of Frida Kahlo and his films with Henry Fonda, María Felix or Paco Rabal will always be remembered.

Gil Stauffer Zaragoza co-ordinated, wrapped and transported the contents of the exhibition by air from Mexico D.F to the provincial government in Huesca. Never has black and white photography been so expressive.
