Update review; The service in Peninsula with Delta removals has been great, the container arrived in 18 days, all very agile, fast and friendly, they also took care of the processing of customs papers for my car. Very grateful to both companies for making our move easier and faster.
Unfortunately, my experience with this moving company was extremely negative. From the beginning, I noticed that there was mismanagement in the process. The boxes were incorrectly labelled; for example, instead of indicating that they contained bedding, they were labelled "kitchen accessories". This caused a lot of confusion when unpacking.
In addition, 40 euros in cash was missing from my house, which I consider the most serious problem of all. Some of my furniture arrived damaged, which only added to my frustration.
Another worrying aspect was the handling of my frozen food. They took everything I had in the freezer and kept it out for more than five hours. I assumed they had some sort of machine to maintain the temperature, but clearly they did not, and this resulted in the loss of my food.
In short, my experience was horrible and I would definitely not hire their services again. I would advise you to look for another option for your removals.
I do not recommend the company Gil Stauffer at all. You hire the removal service, as it is to Lanzarote they tell you that it is no problem.
So far so good. They get paid and then the drama begins.
They bring the move and arrive at ...... Surprise. Multiple objects destroyed by the bad transport. The staff that brings the removal, ordinary, foul-mouthed, shouting and criticizing their company, only bring two people so we decided to help in the unloading or they would never finish and the guys say it was impossible to do it alone. The staff mistreat things, kicking, punching and hitting, to our astonishment, they pick up their things and go away leaving the things outside the house saying that they have no more time and that they have to make another delivery. We call the company and they tell us that they will call them back. Are we crazy? What kind of professionalism is that? I don't want those people in my house any more, to which they respond ..... Well, I'm sorry but there is nothing more we can do.
In the end, we will have to bring in everything ourselves, including furniture, boxes, electrical appliances, etc., in case of a rain warning.
I ask for explanations and all they do is drag their feet. I ask for a virtual complaint form and they tell me they don't have one. I ask to speak to the management and .... Silence, not a word.
In short. They charge almost 4000€ between removal and storage and we feel ripped offI have the photos where you can see the damage and the state in which they left everything on the outside if anyone wants to see them.
Never hire this company if you don't want to lose money and goods as well as nerves and patience.
They made my move from Madrid to Las Palmas, it took them more than a month and a half to deliver my belongings, they didn't give us a delivery date, it depended on the container but they said it would arrive at the end of July and it arrived at the end of August.
They lost several boxes and damaged several objects.
